The Commerce City-North Denver (CCND) Air Monitoring program is operated by
Montrose Air Quality Services
and includes numerous monitoring stations providing continuous, near real-time air quality information to the public.
This program provides information for the following compounds: carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter, and total volatile organic compounds (VOC).
In addition, the CCND Air Monitoring program will periodically deploy a mobile monitoring van capable of detecting VOC such as ethane, ethene, propane, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, and hydrogen cyanide.
Results from this method of monitoring are available on the
documents page.
Service Notice 8/7/23
The CCND monitoring program will no longer be monitoring for nitrogen oxide (NO) beginning the week of 8/7/23. This decision to remove NO from the program was based primarily on two factors.
First, the newly installed SENSIT RAMP units do not monitor for NO. Second, there are no established health-based reference levels for NO.
